I am a life-long resident of Springfield. I will give you a view of Springfield from my perspective. This is perfect for newcomers or natives that just need to break out of their same old places of patronage. Keep checking for unique-to-Springfield places to "stop" and visit.

I didn't even know this guy existed there...and to think I drive past here every day! Crazy.
You don't really kick him, do you?
Well, you actually make him kick by turning the wheel. It's really fun because it's almost as if he waits for someone to come along and free him.
Also, embarrasing! I think you might know the artist. So, I feel a little crazy describing my big, moving friend to you. Apologies all around. But, more importantly, thanks all around because K-man is kool!
Bahhh! How do I keep missing these huge statues? I've lived here for three years and JUST found out that I share the same hometown with the world's largest fork! [I visited that ASAP. Next stop: Metal Statue in Jordan Valley Park.]
I didn't even know about this. I'll have to check it out!
You all have to go. You turn a wheel and he moves. Kids love it and it always makes me smile to watch or turn.
Kellie, maybe our office can go for a picnic there. We have before and even played in the fountain.
